Overview: We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Stock Room Clerk to join our team at APS. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient operation of our inventory management and facility maintenance tasks.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
 
Daily Responsibilities:
  • Pick up and run parts as needed to support operational requirements.
  • Perform bank deposits and handle postal duties as assigned.
  • Conduct inventory counts on two vans to maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Regularly check premises for trash and empty trash cans in front and back of the building.
  • Monitor and replace light bulbs as necessary.
  • Organize and maintain used batteries in an orderly manner.
  • Sweep and maintain cleanliness of the warehouse area.
  • Straighten shelves in the warehouse to optimize storage space.
  • Collaborate with Kristi or warehouse associates to prioritize and complete daily tasks.
 
Weekly Responsibilities:
  • Maintain central vacuum systems by emptying and cleaning vacuum outlets.
  • Assist with outdoor maintenance tasks including trimming hedges, weeding gardens, and cleaning exterior areas.
  • Ensure napkins and tissue paper are stocked throughout the building.
  • Hose down outside staircases and clean the warehouse vehicle inside and out.
  • Empty cigarette containers and maintain cleanliness in designated areas.
  • Straighten and stock wall plates and inserts as needed.
 
Monthly Responsibilities:
  • Change air conditioning filters to maintain air quality and system efficiency.
  • Perform cleaning and maintenance of the central vacuum system.
  • Assist with shredding of documents as required.
 
Specialty Projects:
  • Undertake special projects as directed by management, such as inventory audits, fleet maintenance, and other facility-related tasks.
 
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in warehouse management, stockroom operations, or facilities maintenance preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy in inventory control and maintenance duties.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in facilities maintenance is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally, directing calls to appropriate personnel or taking accurate messages.
  • Distribute voicemails and faxes left at the front desk to the relevant departments or individuals.
  • Manage requests for Alarm Certificates efficiently and accurately.
  • Scan and digitize files of cancelled customers into the system, maintaining organized records.
  • Prepare outgoing mail and distribute incoming mail to appropriate recipients.
  • Assist in preparing monthly recurring invoices for mailing.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized reception area.
 
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office suite).

As a Service Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our operations by efficiently managing service requests, scheduling appointments, and ensuring seamless communication with customers and internal teams.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the “Service Return” board to prioritize and process service requests.
  • Handle internal emails from office staff and customer inquiries.
  • Respond to voicemails left by receptionists and backup answering service calls from customers.
    Send Podium messages to remind customers about scheduled service calls.
  • Provide backup support to operators and receptionists as needed.
  • Close work orders and process invoices accurately and promptly.
  • Assist technicians with programming radios and other technical tasks.
  • Schedule and coordinate service calls based on customer needs and technician availability.
  • Support Ms. Patti with various administrative tasks and projects.
 
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in a technical or service-oriented industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in using email, scheduling software, and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of maintaining accurate records.
 
Additional Skills (Preferred):
  • Experience using Podium or similar customer communication platforms.
  • Familiarity with scheduling tools like Trello.

Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Monitoring Support / Data Entry / Operator to join our team at APS. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our monitoring services and maintaining accurate data entry for our clients’ accounts.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage various reports to identify and address system issues promptly.
  • Scan and accurately input papers received via email into customer accounts, including updates to zones, codes, and account details.
  • Stay informed about updates and news from the central station.
  • Generate and analyze reports assigned by supervisors to ensure accurate billing and account management.
  • Conduct thorough checks on accounts to identify missing data such as zones, personal codes, and system details against service agreements.
  • Handle low-priority trouble reports from the central station, ensuring timely resolution and documentation.
  • Answer incoming calls from customers, placing accounts on test, updating call lists, and assisting with password resets and customer inquiries.
  • Manage in-house emails related to service and installation, focusing on codes and zone updates.
  • Respond to customer emails and inquiries from the central station promptly and professionally.
  • Assist customers in providing activity reports for appeals related to false alarm fines with local authorities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to collect and compile annual alarm activity data as required.
 
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in monitoring support, data entry, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Proficiency in using email, spreadsheets, and database software.
  • Knowledge of alarm systems or security monitoring operations is beneficial.
